The story

I'm not here to scare you. I'm here to tell you there's a better way. The EU has banned over 1,300 ingredients from cosmetics. The US has banned 11. That gap exists because most of us never asked the question. The highest-leverage swap you can make is whatever product you use in the largest quantity and leave on the longest — usually your moisturizer or body lotion. Look for formulas without parabens, synthetic fragrance — that word fragrance can legally hide hundreds of undisclosed compounds — and phthalates. Start there. One swap. Then work outward. Stewardship of the body you were given is a form of prayer.
